UHM innovative concrete has superior chemical and thermal performance, and can be made in compressive strengths up to 8X greater than normal strength concrete
Stronger: Growth of compressive strength for four geopolymer UHPC (GUHPC) recipes over 28 days.
DURABILITY IN ANY ENVIRONMENT
20X more resistant to corrosion in concentrated sulphuric acid than Portland cement concrete (mass loss)
Not flammable and up to 2X more resistant than OPC to extreme heat (900°C)
When exposed to extreme heat, remains intact and does not release toxic gases
Excellent freeze/thaw and weathering resistance
No alkali aggregate reaction
Corrosion resistance: After 28 days in sulphuric acid, Portland cement normal strength concrete (NSC) and ultra high performance concrete (UHPC) show a mass loss of 45% and 65%, respectively. Under identical conditions, UHM’s NSC and UHPC show a mass change of 0.1 to 3.5% (ASTM C267-01, 10 wt.% H2SO4).
STRONG BONDING
FOR REPAIR
Bonds exceptionally well to Portland cement concrete
Minimum bond strength of 5700 psi
Methods of application can include spraying and injection
